We are looking to work with an experienced and well-qualified Educational Psychologist, with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role. Such a person would commence an onsite practice as soon as possible, and work in collaboration with Clifton School to offer our boys and parents an onsite, effective and meaningful service. As such, the appointee would be able to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and teachers and have the ability to participate in and establish collaborative structures while understanding the students’ academic, college, career and personal needs.
In order to establish an on-site practice, this practice would not be restricted to Clifton pupils and parents but could be used for other patients. Office space will be made available on-site and the successful applicant will be required to work the normal operating hours of the school, whilst occasional weekend and evening work may be required.
Consulting with classroom teachers to meet the learning needs of individual pupils, providing support to pupils and families, conducting pupil screening assessments to determine eligibility and placement of pupils, processing of IEB accommodation applications and providing small group and individual counseling to pupils are among some of the general responsibilities of this role.
We invite suitable applicants to join the team at Clifton. A detailed application, should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org along with supporting documentation.
The closing date for applications is 25 May 2018. Clifton School reserves the right not to make an appointment.
